2010 School of Distinction

Wilson Creek Elementary School was one of 52 elementary schools in Washington to be named a 2010 School of Distinction Award Winner.

The award is based on sustained improvement over five years in math and reading in the 4th, 7th and 10th grades. Statewide, 94 schools received this honor. The awards were given by The Center for Educational Awareness and Phi Delta Kappa, a professional association for educators.

An awards ceremony will be held at Eastmont Junior High School in Wenatchee on Wednesday, December 1, at 6 p.m.
