SBAC:

Dear Families,

We hope this message finds you well and filled with anticipation for the upcoming SBAC testing week! As we prepare for this important assessment journey, we want to take a moment to share some important information and enlist your support in making this experience as positive as possible for our students.

SBAC testing will officially kick off next week, starting on Tuesday, May 14. While assessments can sometimes feel daunting, we aim to turn this into a celebration of our students’ hard work and growth throughout the year. Please see the attached document for more information on the Smart Balanced Assessment.

To help create a supportive and uplifting atmosphere, we are inviting parents to contribute snacks for our students during testing days. With approximately 25 secondary students and 35 elementary students participating, your generosity in providing snacks is appreciated!

Additionally, please help us in reminding your child(ren) to bring their laptops and chargers to school on Monday. This will allow us to ensure that all devices are fully charged overnight and ready for testing on Tuesday morning. Please note that electronic devices such as phones will not be permitted during the testing period, even if students finish early. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a distraction-free testing environment.

Thank you for your attention to these important details, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Warm regards,

Anna Thomas
