Dear Families and Staff,

This weekend, Wilson Creek School District was notified that a young person had made an online threat of violence directed at our school.

We immediately contacted the Grant County Sheriff’s Office to notify them of the situation and get their help to investigate. After investigating the issue, law enforcement notified school leadership that the threat was not credible, and there was no danger to our school.

We understand the desire to know more about this situation. Privacy laws prohibit us from sharing personally identifiable information, and we cannot release additional details about the individual involved.
